The service
Switchboard provides an AI assistant that answers customer messages on WhatsApp, takes orders from a menu you publish, and can request payment for those orders. You are responsible for the accuracy of the menu, prices, opening hours and business information you enter.
Orders and payments
Orders are contracts between you and your customer. Payments are collected through your own connected Stripe account and settle directly to you; Switchboard is not a party to the transaction and does not hold funds. You are responsible for fulfilment, refunds and any tax obligations.
Messaging compliance
You must hold the rights to the WhatsApp sender you connect and comply with WhatsApp Business and Twilio policies, including messaging only customers who have contacted you or opted in. Do not use the assistant for unsolicited marketing.
AI limitations
The assistant can make mistakes. Review orders before fulfilling them. Switchboard is provided without warranty that replies will be error-free, and our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous month.
Ending the service
You can stop using Switchboard at any time and request deletion of your workspace and its data.
